David Koerner

David Koerner is the Co-Founder and Owner of the United States Performance Center (USPC), a pioneering human performance institution based in Charlotte, North Carolina. A former Division I quarterback with a background in exercise science, David leverages his experience in high performance sport and research to drive innovation, athlete development, and organizational growth.

With a deep commitment to bridging the gap between academic research and applied athletic performance, David has helped establish USPC as a global model for training, recovery, and innovation. His vision for uniting science and sport has transformed the organization from a regional performance hub into an international leader serving Olympic athletes, military personnel, and emerging youth talent.

Alongside Ike Belk, David co-chaired the successful bid to bring the 2027 World Military Games to Charlotte - a milestone that will redefine the city’s role in global sport and strengthen ties between the athletic and military communities. Under his leadership, USPC continues to forge partnerships with leading organizations including the IOC, USOPC, CISM, and Pan Am Sports, expanding its global reach and impact.

Today, David continues to guide the strategic growth and long-term vision of USPC and the Military World Games, ensuring both serve as lasting models of innovation, excellence, and opportunity for athletes, service members, and communities worldwide.
